Professor Hiroyuki Fukui, born 1948, has had a thirty year career in histamine with over 130 articles published, many in journals with high impact. His research spans the early days of purification and cloning of the H 1 histamine receptor, expression topology and signaling, genetic regulation and pharmacology. Notably he has published over the years many papers together with international EHRS colleagues across the globe, notably Professors Wada, Hill. Panula, Watanabe and Levi, which highlights his long association with and active support of the EHRS.
