Dear Histamine Friends,
I am deeply sorry to tell you that our dear member Pauline Haines suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on the 3rd of December. She was a wonderful, cheerful and loving person. She has accompanied her sister Madeleine (Ennis) to several meetings and organized the social programme for eg. the Durham meeting and was to be involved in the coming meeting in Belfast. It is a great loss to our society and she will be deeply missed by many histamine friends. The Requiem Mass for Pauline will be held at 11.00 on Saturday 17th December in St Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory. She will then be buried in the graveyard in Skeirke, Ireland. All who knew and loved Pauline and Stuart and their families are invited to attend this celebration of her life. If you would like to pay respect to her husband Stuart or to her sister Madeleine Ennis, the address contacts can be found in Members News Letter 12th of Dec. Anita Sydbom President EHRS |

Dear Histamine Friends,
I am deeply sorry to tell you that our dear Honorary Member Professor Walter Schunack died on the 6th of April. Walter Schunack was a true scientist and an excellent Histamine Researcher and a biochemist of first class. He has shared his knowledge with many of us and generously distributed histamine antagonists and agonists resulting in rich collaborations among EHRS scientists. He was, always together with his wife Ingrid, a frequent participant in our meetings and he has done a lot for our society. It is a great loss to our society and he will be deeply missed among many histamine friends. If you would like to pay respect to his widow Ingrid Schunack the address contacts can be found in Members News Letter 11th of Apr. With all the best wishes, Anita Sydbom President EHRS |
Unfortunately, up to now here is no news about the new flights from Europe to Sochi (airport Adler). Maybe due to Russian holidays lasting up to January, 10.
The best price for the air fairs is via Moscow (Aeroflot). The prices will be from Frankfurt, Munuch, Vienna, London, Prague e.c. ~from 350 to 450 euro.
Another possibility to buy two different tickets, for example:
1. Vienna (or other European cities) - Moscow by Aeroflot (~220 euro)
2. Moscow-Sochi by budjet company Avianova (from the same airport) - ~100 Euro. The sites of Russian budjet companies (all have Airbuses 220 or Boieng 737) are www.avianova.com and www.skyexpress.ru
I have another proposal for participants.
In case if somebody will find a cheaper ticket on Tuesday and would like to come one day earlier - on evening 10, May, 2011- this one night will be free!
In any case I will inform you about all news from Sochi airport and possible discounts.
